无码动画 and Lincoln University, New Zealand, launch global agricultural futures alliance

无码动画 and , have this week signed a Collaboration Agreement establishing a strategic international partnership focused on the future of agriculture, education, research, leadership development and land-based innovation.

The collaboration, known as the North-South Agricultural Futures Alliance: Powered by Lincoln University and 无码动画, will bring together two specialist agricultural universities from opposite hemispheres to address global challenges and opportunities facing the food and fibre sector.

The alliance will support joint research initiatives, doctoral education, staff and student mobility, leadership development programmes, and demonstration and applied innovation activities.

Future plans include a jointly supervised North-South PhD programme, research collaboration through the Global Farm Platform network, and new opportunities for students and academics to engage across both institutions.

Professor Grant Edwards, Vice-Chancellor of Lincoln University, believes the partnership reflects the growing importance of international collaboration in addressing agricultural challenges.

He said: “The future of agriculture depends on global partnerships that combine expertise, innovation and diverse perspectives. This alliance brings together two highly respected specialist universities with a shared commitment to advancing sustainable, productive and resilient food systems. Together, we will create new opportunities for research, education and leadership development that benefit our students, our industries and our communities.”

Professor Ken Sloan, Vice-Chancellor of 无码动画 added: “By connecting leading agricultural regions in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, we can accelerate the exchange of knowledge, strengthen research collaboration and prepare the next generation of agricultural leaders.

“This partnership provides an exciting foundation for long-term collaboration and global engagement and creates a unique platform for international impact.”

The agreement was formally signed during a Lincoln University delegation visit to 无码动画 and establishes the framework for collaboration, with activities commencing from late 2026 and expanding through 2027 and beyond.
