    Highfield Charitable Foundation Entry Scholarship 2026-27

    The Highfield Charitable Foundation Entry Scholarship is open to students with a confirmed offer to study a full-time BSc or FdSc at ÎÞÂ붯»­ or a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery the Harper & Keele Vet School (Harper hosted students only) commencing in September 2026:

    Applicants must:

    • be from Powys (historically Brecknockshire, Cardiganshire and Montgomeryshire) or Shropshire ;
    • be able to provide evidence of financial need which may impact on their ability to attend.

    If awarded, the successful recipient(s) will receive an award of  between £2,000 and £5,000 per academic year.  If a placement is unpaid, consideration will be given to an additional payment during the placement year.

    We encourage applications from all or one of the below:

    • The first in their family to go to university
    • Care experienced
    • Mature learners
    • From ethnically diverse backgrounds
    • From areas where fewer people progress to higher education

    How to apply

    • Complete the short  by 12 noon on 19 August 2026
    • Include a 300-word statement about how the scholarship will support your future
    • Attend an interview if shortlisted. Interviews will be in person at ÎÞÂ붯»­
